We are closely monitoring the wildfires affecting the Town of Lynn Lake and surrounding communities. As an integral member of this community, the safety of our neighbours, residents, first responders and employees is our top priority.
Our Lynn Lake Project team is in regular communication with emergency response agencies, the Town of Lynn Lake and our Indigenous partners. We are actively providing logistical and operational support where needed, and we will continue to mobilize resources to assist response teams and help those affected.
We commend the Manitoba Wildfire Service and all emergency personnel for their tireless efforts to protect lives, coordinate evacuations, and contain the wildfire.
Alamos Gold remains committed to supporting local authorities and doing everything we can to ensure the safety and well-being of the Lynn Lake region during this emergency.
